Calphalon One Nonstick was introduced in 2004.  It is constructed with heavy-gauge infused anodized aluminum and a riveted handle which makes this cookware very durable.  The handles feature Cool V technology which helps keep them cool to the touch while cooking.  The heavy-gauge aluminum helps the cookware heat quickly and evenly.  It features four interlocking nonstick layers, when other nonstick cookware is considered to be higher end with just three layers.  Because the cookware is nonstick this eliminates the need to use fats and greases while cooking, helping you to prepare low fat meals easier.

This cookware is oven safe up to 500 degrees.  This is a nice option for dishes that need to be taken off the stove and finished in the oven.  This cookware is rated as broiler safe.
The amount of nonstick layers used should lengthen the life of the cookware as long as you follow the manufactures care instructions.  We recommend only using nylon or wooden utensils with this cookware.  Also, keep in mind that this cookware set is not dishwasher safe.  The detergents used for dishwashers may damage this cookware.  Despite the fact that you can’t use the dishwasher to clean this cookware, the nonstick aspect means foods don’t stick after cooking which, leads to quicker cleanup.  The polymer used in the anodization process also prevents staining which, helps you keep your cookware looking nice for longer.
This cookware carries a higher price than other lower end sets, with a 10 piece set costing around 600 dollars.  However, the fact that this cookware comes with a lifetime warranty means you should never have to buy another set.  Basically you are spending more up front but in the long run it may well be worth it.
