Emerilware Overview
Emerilware is a cookware line that is created from a collaboration between Chef Emeril Lagasse and All-Clad. Emerilware is not made in America like All-Clad instead it is made in China, however Emerilware carries a lower price tag than most All-Clad cookware and is still made to the high quality standards of All-Clad while being made to withstand Chef Emeril’s test kitchen trials.
Emerilware features long handles made from cast stainless steel. The shape of the handle combined with the cast stainless steel handles help to keep the handles cooler while cooking on the stovetop. Remember that in the oven or broiler the handles can still get hot. Stainless steel rivets secure the handles to the cookware making them sturdy and reliable.
Emerilware offers 4 lines of cookware:
Hard-Anodized: Features a superior nonstick interior and is oven safe up to 450 degrees, this line is not broiler safe. It is safe to use this line on gas, electric coil and glass smooth top stoves. This line is not dishwasher safe.
Cast Iron: The cast iron collection is oven and broiler safe up to 600 degrees. It is safe to use this line on gas, induction, electric coil and glass top stoves. The reversible grill/griddles cannot be used on induction cooktops. Be careful not to scratch the surface when using cast iron on smooth cooktops. This line is not dishwasher safe.
Stainless: The stainless line is oven and broiler safe up to 550 degrees however, stainless steel cookware that features nonstick coating is only oven safe up to 450 degrees and is not broiler safe. This excludes damage from misuse or abuse. Minor imperfections and slight color variations are normal.
